KUALA LUMPUR, National carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is offering discounts on airfares of up to 50 per cent to popular destinations through its Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair (MATF 2014) promotions.
The promotion, which commenced from May 15 until May 24, offers affordable airfares to customers in Malaysia until the year-end.
Regional Senior Vice-President Malaysia Datuk Muzammil Mohamad said Malaysians should take advantage of the promotion and book their travel tickets.
“The travel period stretches up to year-end, as such it could be a great opportunity to plan the year-end holiday,” he said in a statement today.
He said among popular destinations are London, whereby, ticket sales has been extremely encouraging and selling fast.
“Travellers can now fly to London from only RM2699 return as well as Frankfurt from RM2799 return, while destinations down south are going from RM1999 return to Sydney and from RM1099 return to Perth,” he said.
Other destinations like Chennai, Delhi or Kochi are from RM1099, RM1399 and RM799, respectively, for return economy class ticket.
Meanwhile, return Business Class airfares to European destinations are from RM11,999, RM6,249 to Sydney and RM3,099 to Chennai.
Other destinations on offer are Dubai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Osaka, Darwin, Krabi and many more.— Bernama
